To ensure a successful learning experience, DSA recommends setting aside approximately 4 to 4.5 hours per week for the Applied Astrology Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
Breakdown of Weekly Study Time:
- 4 LIVE Classes: Each live class is approximately 2 hours in length.
- Homework: On average, there is about 2 hours of homework each week, which includes watching course videos, completing writing prompts, and engaging with exercises.
This study plan gives students enough time to review the content, process the material, and complete the exercises.
Important Notes:
- Students are required to watch videos every week, and there may be writing prompts to complete from time to time.
- There is also some memorization involved, which is an important part of reinforcing key concepts.
The videos, exercises, and coursework are essential for solidifying the material, so it’s important to budget enough study time each week to fully engage with the content.
At DSA, we believe in providing lots of support to ensure your success throughout the Applied Astrology Program.
Personal Mentorship:
Students are assigned to a small group of 8-10 students with one dedicated Applied Astrology Mentor for the duration of the course. This allows for personalized attention and guidance as you progress through the material.
Additional Support:
- LIVE Classes: In addition to the mentor-led group sessions, you’ll have access to interactive learning experiences.
- Private Online Community: DSA Mentors are highly involved in the private online community, actively answering questions and offering additional support.
- Live Q&A Calls with Debra: These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to get your questions answered directly by Debra Silverman.
- Open Houses with DSA Certified Astrologers and Mentors: These events provide another platform to seek guidance and clarity on course material.
Our Commitment:
The DSA Team is here to ensure you feel supported and well taken care of throughout your journey in the program.
If you ever need assistance or have questions, don’t hesitate to contact the DSA Team at info@debrasilvermanastrology.com. We’re here to help!
To fully participate in the Applied Astrology Program, students should be somewhat familiar with and comfortable using technology.
Device Recommendations:
While it is possible to complete the course using a smartphone or iPhone, we do not recommend it. The course is much more user-friendly when accessed on a laptop or desktop computer.
Tech Platforms Used for the Program:
- Zoom: This is the platform used for LIVE Classes, Question & Answer sessions, and Open House events.
- Email: All official school communication, including important updates and course materials, is sent via email.
- Come Study You: DSA’s online learning platform, hosted on the Mighty Networks platform, houses the course curriculum, study groups, and additional resources.
Accessibility:
- Offline Access: Course and video content on the Come Study You platform is not accessible offline or in areas with no signal. To access the content, students must be in an area with a cellular data signal or connected to Wi-Fi.
Make sure you’re set up with the appropriate devices and internet access to fully engage with the program and all its features.
